Blowout Preventers BOP

What it is

BOP is the last line of defense in well control. SGV supplies annular, single/double ram, and complete BOP stacks rated 3,000 to 15,000 psi.

API 16A monogrammed, NACE MR0175 sour service, hydraulic operation with control systems. Includes shear, pipe, variable and blind shear rams.

Used on drilling rigs, workover rigs and wellheads. Full servicing, pressure testing and recertification in our facility.

What it does / Applications

• Seals wellbore to prevent blowout
• Shears drill pipe in emergency
• Controls well pressure during drilling
